In Bengali Jhal means spicy and muri means puffed rice and hence the name. The spiciness of the jhal muri is balanced by added some crunchy fresh cucumbers.     3 Puffed rice
    1 Onion, finely chopped
    1/4 Cucumber, chopped fine
    1 Potato (Aloo), boiled and diced
    1 Tomato, chopped fine
    2 Green Chillies, chopped fine
    2 Roasted Peanuts (Moongphali)
    2 Dry coconut (kopra), chopped
    2 Coriander (Dhania) Leaves, chopped
    1 Lemon juice
    1 Muri Masala
    1 Mustard oil

    To begin making the Jhal Muri/Moodi Recipe, in a large bowl combine all the ingredients listed like the puffed rice, potatoes, onions, cucumber, tomatoes, green chillis, peanuts, dry coconut, coriander leaves, lemon juice, muri masala and mustard oil and give it a good stir until well combined.
