Planning and packing lunch boxes can get easier if you have a plan in place. Shop for all the ingredients required over the weekends. This saves time and energy and if you have all the ingredients handy then you enjoy making the dish as well.

We have included lots of fiber and nutrition the form of green leafy vegetables like in the amaranth khichi and methi raita. Green leafy vegetables stay fresh for up to a week in the refrigerator. While buying green leaves ensure that they are fresh and are not pale green or yellow. While storing the leaves clean and remove any damaged and rotten leaves and store fresh green leaves in an airtight container. Use as and when required.
